Customer Reviews
- Instead of having an excessive number of bandages, this kit included all the essentials. Benefits include metal tweezers, bandage shears that look a little flimsy but do the job, plenty of safety pins and cotton swabs for every need, and a small tube of saline eyewash (or wound irrigation). Because it included these items, I purchased the kit. It also surprised me by perfectly fitting into my molle pouch. By doing this, I was able to attach it to my backpack so that it wouldn’t get lost inside of it or hang loose outside. By putting it in the pouch, I was also able to remove the gloves and emergency blanket from the kit itself and place them in the pouch with the kit. I removed them to make space for some medications, hydrocortisone cream, and burn gel. I also included an eyecup because there was eyewash. Everything fits perfectly inside the kit’s plastic bag. To add an additional layer of waterproofing, I kept them in the bag. The kit itself seems to be well-made and reasonably waterproof. With this kit, I am overjoyed..the I only deducted a star because it only included one pair of gloves when two were specified and because the moleskin was a sheet rather than the shapes shown in the picture. No big deal.
- Despite the fact that I have little to no experience with first aid kits, this one has everything you need. Everything is packaged neatly in a bag that is easy to recognize and seems to be of good quality. My only concern is that if I ever need it, I might not be able to put everything back inside the bag.
- purchased this to bring on motorcycle trips. Has alcohol wipes in a compact kit. Very few ointments or over-the-counter medications are available. The compact case is completely packed. There isn’t a lot of room for anything you might want to add. To possibly make more room, I’ll repack it. Overall, it serves the purpose it was intended for, but you might want to add a few things.
- The 110-piece mini first aid kit seemed fine in stock form, with the exception of the lack of antibiotic ointment, so I converted it into a compact backpacking first aid kit. The space blanket (it weighs a lot), some of the iodine and alcohol prep pads, the eye flush, the bad tape, and the majority of the safety pins were among the items I took out. They sure do like to use a lot of bandages to reach that 110 item count. Along with a.5 oz tube of triple antibiotic ointment, I also added Leukotape, ibuprofen, benedryl, and anti-diarrhea. The other items appear to be of decent quality, but the tape and tweezers are sort of blah. If there were some packets of single-use antibiotic ointment included, it would be better. The weight of the first aid kit after all my removing and adding is about 4.5 oz.
Conclusion
Anywhere you go, be ready for emergencies. Bring this along with you when you go camping, hiking, backpacking, or on road trips. Fit in your car, truck, boat, camper, or RV trunk, glove box, or purse. No matter where you are—at home, school, the office, or on an adventure—you will always be ready.
